What type of tips can businesses collect through EasyTip?

With EasyTip, you can collect both individual and pooled tips (or team tips). Individual tipping lets customers reward specific staff members for their great service. Team tipping allows tips to be pooled and then automatically split among team members based on hours worked or preset percentages, ensuring a fair and transparent distribution.

How do I receive my tips via EasyTip?

For individual tips, payouts are sent directly to employee bank accounts. For pooled tips, businesses have the option to either receive tips to their business bank accounts and distribute them via payroll, or use EasyTip to allocate tips and send payouts directly to all employees. 

Payout schedules vary from instant, daily, weekly and monthly depending on the type of tips collection and other individual requirements. Payouts are made via the ACH network and can take 1-2 days to reach your bank account.

Does digital tipping increase average gratuities?

Many businesses using EasyTip report higher average tips. That’s because digital tipping removes barriers. Clients can tip generously using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or cards in seconds.

Do my customers need an app to leave a tip?

Customers who leave a tip do not need an app, they can simply scan a QR code using any mobile phone camera. For staff however, there is an app downloadable via Apple App Store or Google Play Store which makes managing tips even easier. With notifications turned on, users will receive a message each time they receive a tip, when there are new updates or when new actions are needed on your profile.
